Therein two foci of research have grown. Concentrating on this profile but also covering the broad range of clinical research, the Interdisciplinary Centre for Clinical Research is a proven instrument for promoting young researchers and internal initial funding of research groups.
In 2012, scientist at the school of medicine raised an amount of 26.5 Mio Euro of Third-party funds for research projects. They launched more than 400 new projects in 2012. For a complete review of research at the Jena Univerity Hospital see our research report.
